Belarus' young families to get more financial support for housing construction

Belarus has increased by 50% the amount of financial assistance to young and large families for housing construction. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of state.

Now the family, who already have a child, can count on 40 minimum subsistence budgets (MSB). If a second child is born, the assistance is increased to 80 MSB, while families with three kids can get 100MSB. At the moment, it is nearly BYR160 million (about $8,700).

The financial aid is only for those in need of better housing conditions. In addition, the state will not repay concessional loans. It will help to repay only loans issued on a common basis.
