Eurasian Economic Congress discusses Eurasian integration on December 1

The prospects of Eurasian integration today, December 1, in Moscow were discussed by participants of the Eurasian Economic Congress. This forum has become a platform for direct dialogue between the business community and government bought the participating countries.

Among the key issues is the creation of a common market of drugs, cooperation with the European Union, the Arab countries, China and India, as well as the development of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union.

For now the exact date of its entry into force is not defined but experts expect that the officials will adopt the document in 2016.

Vladimir Goshin, Member of the Board (Minister) for customs cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission:
Now we have summed up all the differences regarding the Customs Code in a table. There are around 200 positions. These are cases where one country is against four. That is, four countries insist on a unified position, while a single country has a dissenting opinion. It is not always Kazakhstan, sometimes Belarus is in this role and sometimes Russia.
