Coaches' training in Europe much better than in Belarus, director of Coaches' High School says

The number of medals won at various competitions depends not only on the preparation of athletes, but also on the competence of coaches.

Any person, regardless of rank and status, must always keep fit and keep track of the latest trends in your sport. Therefore, the preparation of high-quality professionals is one of the most important aspects of the development of sports.

Nikolai Pozdnyak, Director of the Belarusian High School of Coaches:
Comparing the training of coaches in Europe and in Belarus, we are unfortunately losing to them. It is necessary to state it. We have just begun to establish a system of professional development and training of highly qualified coaches who have been competitive in Europe and in the world at international competitions, including the Olympic Games. In many other countries, the system of training and professional development has been put on a solid state basis. We are only at the beginning.

The Coaches' High School works with young professionals and their more experienced colleagues so students have the opportunity to not only listen to lectures, but also share live experience with each other. Guests from abroad also come to give lectures on a par with full-time teachers. All of this allows coaches to learn new techniques and improve their professional level.

Artem Shakura, teacher:
Here come people who want to first of all talk to each other, learn something new from each other. Because parts of the country are far from each other. People also come here for new knowledge in the field of boating and sport in general.
