Belarus 4th at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest has completed in Sofia. Young talents from 17 countries took part in the festival, with Malta celebrating a victory. Belarus took fourth place this time.

13-year-old Destiny Chukunyere takes inspiration in the works of Beyonce and Aretha Franklin. The girl convincingly won other prestigious national and Italian musical competitions. Destiny twice represented Malta at the San Remo Junior Festival and once won it.

Destiny scored 185 points to claim the winner's title. Second place went to a representative of Armenia, Mika, with 176 points. In third place is Lina Kuduzovich from Slovenia (112 points).

13-year-old representative of Belarus Ruslan Aslanov took fourth place at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015. At the Eurovision stage, he performed the song "Magic."

The number of the Belarusian participant was quite interactive thanks to graphic design. In the background of the stage there is a tree (watch video) that is changing its color throughout Ruslan's performance. The culmination was the chorus of the song in English: at this moment the tree lights up and dozens of LED butterflies rush onto the stage.

Ruslan earlier became a finalist for the Ukrainian TV show "The Voice. Children" and won third place at the children's contest "New Wave".
