For the second round in a row the medal intrigue has been dying in the Belarusian football championship. Dinamo Minsk took on Mozyr's FC Slavia and won the silver medals several tours before the end of the championship.
Dinamo Minsk won 2-0 through a double by Chigozie Udoji and won second place. Slavia’s hopes of leaving the last position in the championship evaporated.
Dinamo thus became a record holder in terms of the number of times it won second place in the Belarusian Highest League – it won silver eight times.
However, it was strange that the match for silver had been appointed for Monday. Moreover, the low attendance at the Traktor stadium could be explained by the fact that fans continue to boycott the strict personal search measures by the police.
FC Minsk, another club from the capital, is losing hopes of winning the championship bronze. BATE, already champions of Belarus won 2-1 against Naftan, with their fans setting attendance anti-record.
First-League FC Isloch has won a ticket to the highest division and will be waiting for other First League sides to join them in the Highest League.
