Alexander Lukashenko goes to Kazakhstan for two-day working visit October 15

Tomorrow, 15 October, the Belarus President will travel to Kazakhstan on two-day working visit, reports the press service of the Belarusian leader. It is expected that Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the meetings of the Council of Heads of CIS member states and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

The agenda of the forthcoming summit of the CIS includes a dozen questions. In particular, the heads of state plan to adopt a statement in connection with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations and the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident. In addition, a number of issues will be dedicated to the further strengthening of the military and border cooperation.

At the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the leaders will discuss the main directions of international activity and economic development of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Presidents will consider the joining of new members to the EEU and termination of membership in the union, as well as the beginning of negotiations with Israel for an agreement on free trade zone.
