BBC notes: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has won a landslide victory in the election. Official representatives of the Central Election Commission have announced the preliminary results.

Italian La Stampa also informs about the victory of Alexander Lukashenko.

New York Times wrote: "Alexander Lukashenko won receiving 83.5% of the vote."

Italian Corriere della sera stresses: There was no doubt about who will be the winner of the presidential elections in Belarus. It was only a fraction of uncertainty. 

Lenta.ru notes: Lukashenko won the election gaining 20 times more votes than his nearest rival.
