President Lukashenko about Ukraine crisis: Belarusians, Russians and Ukrainians are brothers! Enough of these wars!

At the polling station where Alexander Lukashenko voted today, he answered questions from various media. A journalist from Ukraine asked a question about the crisis in his country. The President noted that Belarus will never be a platform of aggression against any country.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
Today it is difficult. Even Petro Poroshenko yesterday or the day before yesterday admitted that the peace in the Donbass, which was built and established here, in Belarus, has become a real truce. That is, even the President of Ukraine, who was quite radical (I do not blame him for it: he is the president - he knows best), he has already started to admit that this is truce. So, soon there will be peace. I am convinced of this. And you no longer have to ask whether Belarus will be an accomplice of the aggressor or an aggressor itself. This goes not only for Ukraine. I emphasize: this goes for everyone. But if someone wants to demonstrate strength at our borders... Let us live in peace.
Listen, enough of these wars, we're brothers. What are we sharing? Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians? There is nothing to share. It is time to live in peace, without disturbing anybody and without getting into the internal affairs of states. I calmly treat the fact that Ukraine wants to taste EU bread. You're welcome! I told your leaders about it. But having tasted that bread, you should keep in mind that you will have to take responsibility for the consequences . I want to ask you whether you will be able to compete in the European Union! You have chosen our path and we respect that. We will adapt to your policy and your course. We will adapt. In no case will we criticize you (if it does not concern us) or ever resist this because we are relatives. This is my understand and maybe it differs from yours.
