Belarusian snow removing equipment will be shipped to Sakhalin. Such an agreement was reached on 5 October in Minsk. A representative delegation of that Russian region led by the governor is now on a visit in Minsk.
The program includes visits to the flagships of Belarusian mechanical engineering. In the morning the guests were shown the latest product lineup of Amkodor. The first batch of snow removing equipment will be delivered to the Far East region before the end of 2015. In general, the project is designed to run in the course of five years.
Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of the Sakhalin region of the Russian Federation:
By itself Amkodor is a company that has a good technological equipment; they are always ready to adapt their machinery to the existing geographical and climatic conditions of the region. Today, we need at least 50 vehicles for courtyards. We are also interested in machinery for logging and we will buy several complexes here. We see them as partners who will not only supply the equipment, but also create training centers, set up service centers and then create there assembly plants.
Valery Ivankovich, director general of Amkodor:
The Sakhalin region is a place with complex meteorological and climatic conditions, so we are ready to adapt our machinery to the market. We are ready to think on some common solutions taking into account their regional peculiarities. We consider the governor our reliable partner. I hope that we will succeed and find common ground, and that this will be a guarantee of our future cooperation.
