Belarus Armed Forces taking part in CSTO peacekeeping forces' joint drills

Indestructible Brotherhood 2015. The Armed Forces of Belarus have begun joint exercises of CSTO peacekeeping forces. The main purpose of training in Armenia is the preparation and conduct of peacekeeping operations in the Caucasus region. It is expected that special attention will be paid to improving combat coordination of peacekeeping contingents of the Organization of the Collective Security Treaty.

Valery Semerikov, Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty:
We held in 2015 a large-scale exercise with the collective rapid reaction forces, the collective rapid deployment forces. We had a number of drills with the special services and law enforcement agencies. With these exercises "Indestructible Brotherhood" in which our peacekeeping forces from all CSTO member-states are involved, we are completing the joint preparation stage.

Also, the landfill Bagramyan is going to host weapons practice, medical and engineering training. On 1 October, Belarusian peacekeepers, together with the personnel of the armed forces contingents of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, will proceed to combat training missions.
