Businessmen of the Vladimir region proposed the creation of an online resource for co-operation with Belarusian producers. This project was discussed on September 23 during a matchmaking session in Minsk.
Leaders of Belarusian enterprises, at a meeting with colleagues from the Russian region, favored the overcoming of information vacuum that has emerged between producers and consumers.
This is one step on the way to restore the level of trade turnover between Belarus and the Vladimir region.
Alexander Fedorchuk, director general of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce:
This comes against the backdrop of a certain decline in our joint trade. I mean the trade turnover between Belarus and the Vladimir region. It fell somewhere by 30%.
Kirill Gavrilov, deputy director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation Vladimir region:
There is a real perfect consumer interest in the products of Belarusian producers. Our task is to present these products in the region, do it broader.
