Belarusian national information space fully performs its constitutional duty

What information is in the 21st century, how to convey to the audience the position, where the line of objectivity goes? About 150 journalists, editors, columnists and reporters from all over Belarus gathered for a forum on September 23. The forum "Common vision for the future. Journalism: Business of the young" discussed the problems and prospects of the profession.

Young journalists discussed the main political event of the year: the Belarusian presidential election. Now the campaigning is underway and the media face new tasks: to provide viewers, listeners and readers with objective and timely information on the candidates and the presidential elections.

Lilia Ananich, Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus:
Today, the national information space fully performs its constitutional duty: we provide full information about the electoral processes, published candidates' programs and the way their campaigning is going on. Today, Belarusian citizens are informed about the elections and many of them are going to partake in the election.
