Belarus' Azarenka 23rd in WTA ranking, Govortsova down two notches

In the latest ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), Belarusian Victoria Azarenka occupies 23rd place.

Last week, the best Belarusian tennis player did not participate in tournaments and now has 2,216 points. Olga Govortsova, who has 866 points, fell from 63rd to 65th position in the world ranking. Another Belarusian Alexandra Sasnovich has 398 points and 136th place. This week Sasnovich plays at a tournament in Seoul after successfully qualifying for the main draw.

American Serena Williams still tops the ranking followed by Romanian Simona Halep and Russian Maria Sharapova.

Out of all Belarusian tennis players Vladimir Ignatik is the highest, in 207th place and 240 points. In the ATP doubles rankings, Max Mirnyi is in 32nd position. American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan are in first place in the rating.
