Eurasian Intergovernmental Council underway in Grodno September 8

Economic and financial stability within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) was discussed on September 8 in Belarus' Grodno. The city is hosting the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting today. The Belarusian delegation is headed by Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov.  

The agenda includes matters of coordinated industrial policy, the development of relations with foreign partners and international organizations, and the formation of a single market for services.

As expected, the meeting will result in the signing of a treaty on the protection of intellectual property and an agreement on the labeling of goods with check characters.
