Hugo Chavez photo exhibition opens in National Library of Belarus

The life of the Comandante. You can now trace Hugo Chavez's life through photographs. The National Library of Belarus is hosting an exhibition showing the activities of the outstanding politician, diplomat and patriot of his country. You can see here previously unpublished images. They reflect how over time, starting with modest childhood, a man, faithful to the ideals of the struggle for justice, loving his homeland, was turning into the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution and became a stronghold of the peoples of Latin America.

Maria Antonia Cabeza, chargé d'affaires of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus:
These pictures reflect very different moments in the life. For example, those dedicated to the Military Academy. Such photos are difficult to find easily. So first and foremost the purpose of this exhibition is to get the Belarusian public acquainted with moments in which Chavez expressed himself as a person and, of course, as a citizen.
