Minsk, Kiev preparing roadmaps to restore bilateral trade

Minsk and Kiev are preparing roadmaps to restore the previous level of trade between the countries. This was stated by the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry in Kiev. Vladimir Makei is here on a working visit.

The talks with the leadership of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also focused on the situation in the Donbass. Vladimir Makei assured that Belarus is doing everything for soonest peace and stability in the sourth-east of Ukraine.

Since it is unknown whether the next meeting of the tripartite contact group will take place, we are ready to provide and, if necessary, if it is acceptable for all participants in the tripartite contact group, serve as a kind of the secretariat. We are ready to support the establishment of a technical office that will assist the work of the Tripartite Group of the OSCE in Belarus.

The talks confirmed the need for the unconditional fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. The sides paid particular attention to the prospects of dialogue taking into account the participation of Belarus and Ukraine in regional integration associations.
