Mutual visits of Belarusian and Chinese kids strengthen bilateral ties

Mutual visits of children from Belarus and China will strengthen cooperation between the two countries, said August 12 Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus at a meeting with students from China. Natalia Kochanova hopes that such exchanges will become a good tradition.

Fifty Chinese children arrived in Minsk to explore the capital of Belarus. The tour began with a visit to the National Library, the diamond of knowledge, as it is also known. Children were presented gifts - dolls in Belarusian national costumes. The guests, in turn, gave the President of Belarus a picture with one of Confucius' aphorisms - a wish for a long and strong relationship between the two countries.

Lou I, schoolgirl (China):
All places in Belarus that I saw are very beautiful. I want to take home a lot gifts that have Belarusian national color.

Ban Lu Ying, teacher (China):
As soon as we stepped off the plane, we saw green landscapes and blue sky overhead. And every day can we see all this beauty around us. Of course, we must continue to develop our cooperation! Belarusian people are very open and kids whom we met in the summer camp are very friendly, so if we continue like this, we will soon become really good friends.
