Braille ballot papers to be available for visually impaired during 2015 presidential election in Belarus

As many as 1,032 polling stations have been created ahead of the October 11 presidential election in the Minsk region. 

Of these, 37 are located in sanatoriums, rest homes, hospitals and other medical facilities, and are closed. Eight polling stations will be working in military units.

The Borisov district is the most populous in the Minsk region, with 111 polling stations created there.

Each polling station will be equipped in accordance with the electoral law. Visually impaired will be able to use special information materials in Braille and stencils.

Now representatives are being nominated to district election commissions. This stage of the election campaign will last until 23 August inclusive.
