Pakistani Prime Minister's wife visits National Art Museum of Belarus

Belarus and Pakistan will develop cultural contacts, said director of the National Art Museum of Belarus Vladimir Prokoptsov on August 10.

The museum was visited by the wife of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, who is currently visiting Belarus. The guest visited several rooms, including the exhibition of Russian paintings of the late 18th century and the Christian exhibition.

She paid particular attention to works of Belarusian painters. The wife of the Pakistani premier asked a lot about the works of Witold Byalynitsky-Birulya and Ivan Khrutsky. And no doubt that she was amazed by the Slutsk belt.

The Premier's wife, PhD, excelled in the humanities and devoted his thesis to poetry. In Pakistan, she is known as a defender of women's rights.

Vladimir Prokoptsov, Director of the National Art Museum of Belarus:
I suggested that next year we hold an exhibition of artists of Pakistan. This would be interesting for our customers - the people of our country. This will also stimulate the economic side of Belarus-Pakistan relations.
