Belarus' Constitutional Court approves updated law on state symbols

The Constitutional Court of Belarus on July 8 approved a new law on state symbols. Experts confirmed that the draft document is consistent with all the legislative acts in force.

The new law provides for a ban on the use of the image of the State Emblem of Belarus on letterheads, stamps and seals belonging to NGOs.

Furthermore, there is a list of objects where flags must be set. It is reported that the new law should help Belarusians develop respect for the state symbols.
