Belarus biathlete Darya Domracheva diagnosed with mononucleosis, says nothing serious

The biathlete Darya Domracheva announced on her page on a social network that she had been diagnosed with mononucleosis.

Mononucleosis....I heard about it somewhere... Not the most pleasant diagnosis... Greetings from me and don't worry please.... The acute form of the illness is over... From recomendations of doctors: rest and walking on the nature.... :) I've got a chanse to enjoy a summer...

Mononucleosis is an infectious disease. It presents with fever and sore throat, affects internal organs and causes a change in the composition of blood. During treatment, patients are recommended to limit physical activity for 1-1.5 months after the disease is diagnosed.

 

Darya Domracheva won the Big Crystal Globe in the 2014/2015 season and was awarded the Hero of Belarus title after winning three golds at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
