Independence Day 2015 in Brest Fortress: Flowers, Eternal Flame and minute of silence

Independence Day celebrations were opened in Brest with a ceremony of laying flowers to the Eternal Flame and the minute of silence near the Brest Fortress, the symbol of Belarusian heroism.

In memory of the courage of WWII soldiers, a gun salute was fired near the fortress on July 3 followed by a march of the Brest garrison.
