Belarus Premier presents state awards to distinguished people of Belarus July 1

On July 1, Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov on behalf of the President presented state awards at the Palace of the Republic. On the eve of Independence Day, more than 120 people were awarded medals and decorations for the fruitful work of many years, exemplary performance of their duties and achievements in science, medicine, art and culture.

Anatoly Moiseyev, Chairman of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Veterans Association:
This award is not only mine. This is the honor of all veterans of the Minsk region, of all the activists. I must tell you that despite their advanced age, they are all very active and engaged in military-patriotic, moral and educational work of the youth and actively participate in the life of the whole Minsk district.

Lydia Grinevskaya, the main animal technician, agricultural enterprise Polesskaya Niva:
