Belarus ready to supply rescue equipment to Vietnam

Belarus and Vietnam have good prospects for cooperation in the field of disaster management. This opinion was expressed on June 26 by the head of government of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov at a meeting with Minister of Public Security of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang.

Belarus is ready to organize the deliveries of equipment for rescue units of Vietnam.

The sides discussed economic cooperation and joint projects in agriculture, food production engineering, pharmaceuticals and nanotechnology.

Andrei Kobyakov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
Traditionally, the dynamism of our mutual trade is positive, with figures reaching $ 200 million. But we believe that the potential is far from being exhausted. Vietnam already operates a number of joint ventures created with the assistance of Belarusian experience and technology. We are also working on Belarusian-Vietnamese enterprises to produce automotive and agricultural machinery.

Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Public Security of Vietnam:
This is my fourth visit to Belarus. Today we are discussing international and regional issues, issues of interaction between two parties. The main theme is fight against terrorism.
