Belarusian products now in US retail chains

Belarus will increase the export of agricultural products. According to forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2015, the state will earn up to $ 7 billion on these supplies. Manufacturers began to actively promote products in new countries. Belarusian products are now in demand in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

Exports doubled to Asia and Oceania. Among the buyers are the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Pakistan, and China. The first delivery of milk powder to Syria also took place. Belarusian products were tasted even in the USA. 

Alexei Bogdanov, head of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus:
We have already sent two containers. Whereas previously they contained frozen curd, now we put there cottage cheese, yogurt, and a variety of dairy products. We are going to enter commercial networks of the US market. And note that we are not talking about shops for migrants. These will be US networks.    

In 2015, Belarus increased production of milk and meat. Almost all oblasts of the country have seen increased figures. This was made possible including through the modernization of the agricultural sector. Since 2010, more than a thousand dairy complexes has been renovated. Another 300 were built from scratch. In agriculture, the emphasis is on modern equipment and new technologies. The situation is more difficult with the restoration of the pig population. The President requested farmers to redress the situation in this area. The order may be executed by the end of the year.

Igor Brylo, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus:
This year we have planned to reconstruct another 57 dairy farms in the country and to build 11 new pig farms. Of course, this will allow us to maintain a positive trend in milk production, cattle meat, pork and poultry in general. This is not only our country's food security for the year. But we can also increase the export of our products to neighboring countries.
