Molodechno hosts 15th National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry

Belarus was waiting for such a bright and sincere show! The opening of the 15th National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry in Molodechno fully justified its name "Independent Belarus in songs and poetry." Music and poetry harmoniously intertwined in the opening show. Everything was executed at the highest level.

Actors, singers, brightest stars of Belarusian culture - they were all in Molodechno that night. The most eminent Belarusian composers were on one stage for the first time in the history of the festival.

The talented combination of "song and poetry" won the audience's hearts. The range of emotions at the concert was wide: from tears in the eyes to dances. The hit "Belaruskaya Polka" was performed at the festival for the first time since 1993, the first Molodechno fest. The song was met with rapturous applause.

Each of the concerts of the festival was special and memorable.

Probably the most exciting concert was the contest of young singers. The Musical Olympus - a celebration of Belarusian Song and Poetry - the National Festival of Molodechno "lit" a lot of talented "stars": Irina Dorofeeva, Larisa Gribaleva Natalia Tamelo... New names appeared on the Olympus this time, too.

Conductor Mikhail Finberg is convinced that Belarus has no future without the youth. Patriotism, desire to create and excellent education are key components of success.

The most lucky number this year was No.2. The Grand Prix (statuette of singer Vladimir Muliavin's guitar) went to a talented student of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts - Tatyana Volokhonovich.
