Slavic Bazaar 2015 in Vitebsk: Festival dates and tickets

On March 18, the Slavic Bazaar festival director revealed the details of the 2015 edition of the festival.

Singer, composer, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Polad Bülbüloğlu will head the jury of the Pop Song Contest at Slavic Bazaar.

Belarus will pick the singer for the festival at the beginning of April. Now the national selection of contestants is going on.

As for the events, they, will be held in Vitebsk in three stages (as last year) - the semi-finals, the first and second day of the final.

In the Summer Amphitheatre, the audience will see 18 concerts.

For the first time, winners of the children's competition and the pop song contest will be awarded during the closing ceremony of the festival. Organizers promise an eventful program outside the festival venue, too. One of them will be the Street Art Fest.

Vladislav Tsviki, director of the Festival of Street Art at the International Art Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk":
Vitebsk will become a kind of decoration for this project. The city has cool architecture and boasts very talented people. We expect that the city will love this genre and we will have our own Arbat (a street in Moscow which is considered an example of the organization of street festivals).

Meanwhile, concert tickets will be available from March 20.

In the first three days, they will appear only at the box offices of Vitebsk. And then they will go on sale. One will be able to buy them online, from any country.

Alexander Sidorenko, director of the International Art Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk":
Definitely we will apply discounts for festival events (earlier sale can be held at a discount), systems of different offers and competitions. As last year showed, the tickets were bought very actively in our country, in other regions, in the city of Minsk. Here the most important thing is to move and do something.

This year's "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be held from 9 to 13 July.

But traditionally its scope will be expanded with additional concerts, which will make the festival a few days longer.

Vitebsk will host the first artists already on July 7, while the final concerts will take place on July 15.
