Andrei Mezin joins Belarus national hockey team coaching staff

Andrei Mezin will become one of members of the coaching staff of the Belarusian national ice hockey team. It is assumed that the goalkeeper, who has recently finished his playing career, will act as a junior goalkeeping coach.

Swedish specialist Michael Lehner is going to be the senior goalkeeping coach. Mezin will also be responsible for the training of younger goaltenders.

The former goalie made a debut as the senior team's goalkeeping coach in November 2014 during manager Vladimir Krikunov's tenure. Mr Krikunov was later replaced by Canadian Dave Lewis.
