Darya Domracheva moves to first place in IBU Biathlon World Cup standings

Darya Domracheva moved into first place in the overall standings of the World Cup Biathlon! A significant and long-awaited event for all Belarusians happened on February 14 in Holmenkollen, Norway, where Daria won the women's sprint race in brilliant style.

Domracheva did not allow a mistake during the race, while her main rival, Kaisa Mäkäräinen from Finland, missed three times and in the end turned out to be far below the top three winners. This was a key point in the distribution of places in the overall World Cup table.

After winning the race, Daria made her trademark heart from fingers and wished the spectators and the whole world love on February 14th.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Darya Domracheva on the win.
