On Saturday, Belarus and Switzerland won one singles match each. Viktorija Golubic lost to Aliaksandra Sasnovich and then Timea Bacsinszky ousted Aryna Sabalenka.  On the next day, Aliaksandra Sasnovich confidently overpowered Timea Bacsinszky to make the score 2:1.
